Kaewjaojorm is named after a historic tree species and quite a rare tree from East Indies. King Chulalongkorn brought this tree, Kaewjaojorm, back from Java (Indonesia) when he went on a trip in 1870. The common name is Lignum Vitae which means ‘Tree of life’.
